Empowering people of all abilities through high quality outdoor experiences
AWeSOMe!’s 2014/15 Scholarship Program
Full and partial scholarships are available thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. Scholarship recipients will receive a two hour lesson, ski pass for the day, equipment rental and a meal voucher. Lessons are conducted on a personalized, one-on-one basis with specially trained volunteer instructors. We have instructors who are trained in the adaptive techniques of 3-track, 4-track, mono-ski, bi-ski, guiding skiers with visual impairments, and teaching people with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
