4th Annual Payette Lake
Cardboard Boat Regatta
July 11th

The 4th Annual Payette Lake Cardboard Boat Regatta, is scheduled for July 11, 2009 at Legacy Park in McCall. The Regatta is a fun and wacky event that has teams of up to six people build boats using only cardboard and duct tape. Then the teams race along the shores of Payette Lake hoping to make it to the finish line without sinking. The fastest boat is crowned the Payette Lake Cardboard Boat Champion. Just as impressive (at least to those watching) the team with the most spectacular sinking is given the Titanic Award. The Pride of Sharlie Award goes to the best looking boat in the competition. The event is not only fun for all the participants but also for the hundreds of spectators that watch.

The Regatta is for kids, adults, families and companies/organizations wanting to enjoy a “Extraordinary Day” at the beach. GlennKelly will be performing and Larry Gebert from Channel 7 will be our announcer for the event. Come out for the fun and help us with our programs.

“Last Shooter Standing” —
Paintball Tournament
August 29th

Teams will compete against each other to be the “Last Shooter Standing.” The tournament is at Camp Pinewood in McCall, Idaho. Teams can be as small as two people and as large as five. Proceeds from the tournament go to support AWeSOMe!

Cost is $20 per individual (before August 22nd);
$30 after and on the day of event.
