AWeSOMe is always in need of volunteers
Hello to all AWeSOMe! volunteer ski instructor candidates!
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer adaptive ski instructor with AWeSOMe!
We are currently planning for the upcoming ski season. Rich Koppenhafer is our director of training for the ski school and he's been enthusiastically contriving expanded training opportunities for all of us.
Volunteer Instructor Training
Location: Brundage Mountain Ski Resort December 10:
Teaching styles, terrain selection, lesson planning, basic progression. Evaluation of new candidates
December 18:
Disability overview, then on-snow: a.m.: visual impairments; p.m.: 2,3,& 4-track (stand-up) skiing
December 18:
Mono-ski and Bi-ski, other topics as needed
