Events 2011 6th Annual Payette Lake Cardboard Boat Regatta July 9th Day’s Events:        11:30 am - Registration begins for “Cardboard Boat Regatta.”          Noon - Start construction of cardboard boats.          2 pm - Construction ends          2 pm  - Calcutta begins          2:30pm  - The Ultimate Mayhem – The Race Begins   Awards: Awards are given out in a kid’s category (participants under 18 years old), and an adult category:          “Payette Lake Cardboard Boat Champion” – The fastest boat, the winner of the race.         “Pride of Sharlie” – The judges choice for the best-looking boat. ·        “Titanic Award” – The award for the boat with the most spectacular sinking.
